YELLOW COLOUR DAY CELEBRATION

29th JULY 2011
WE CELEBRATED YELLOW COLOUR DAY. TEACHERS AND STUDENTS WERE BOTH DRESSED IN YELLOW TO ADD A FEATHER TO THE CAP. STUDENTS PRESENTED A CARD AND FLOWERS AS A WELCOME NOTE TO THE RESPECTED PRINCIPAL, FOLLOWED BY THE POEMS SUNG BY THE TINY TOTS. PROGRAMME  UNFOLDED WITH PUPPET SHOW, DANCE AND OTHER FUN ACTIVITIES LIKE FRUIT CHAAT AND LEMONADE MAKING. STUDENTS BROUGHT YELLOW LEMON AND VARIOUS OTHER YELLOW FRUITS FOR THIS CELEBRATION. AT LAST YELLOW LADOOS WERE DISTRIBUTED AMONG THE STUDENTS.
THESE TYPE OF CELEBRATION ENHANCE THE KNOWLEDGE OF STUDENTS AND CLEAR THE CONCEPT OF COLOUR. THESE TINY TOTS ENJOYED TE PROGRAM UTMOST.

Today in the morning the children did some water activities. They played with the coloured balls in the pool and this helped them to learn about the colour concepts. They were able to differentiate between the floating and sinking objects. They made paper boats which sailed in the water. It was a stress busting activity and a great learning experience for the children. The tiny tots especially enjoyed those activities which involved water splashing. The habit to take care of their own belongings will develop though these activities.
